Ready for some big news?!

We've updated the RocketRocketShip family to now include Jon Pike on vocals!
Jon is well known for his other projects Wading For Mark and Discos Down. This has given us the opportunity to have two singers throwing lines back and forth, and it sounds really cool, we can't wait for everyone to hear it!

If you're curious, and you wanna know what the new RRS sounds like exactly, then come see us next weekend (Sept 8) at the Pepsi Centre in Corner Brook where we'll be opening for Down With Webster! We've been so lucky to get big opportunities like this come our way, so thank you all for supporting RRS, and a special thanks to Sure Fire Ent. for hooking us up so much.

In other news, school is back in session in less than a week. Booo. It seems like only a week ago we were in Corner Brook playing the End of Exams Jam. Nevertheless, here's to another year, and we all know it's gonna be the best yet!

Hey all,

We finally have our own website! Real stoked on it. I'll try to keep this blog updated at least once a month as well, but I can't make any promises. I'm usually terrible at doing these things regularly.

We're all really excited to travel the island again and play some music. Especially after spending all winter cooped up writing and recording. It's been some really long, and some really tough days. But summer is almost here, and we're all really proud of the finished product and can't wait for you to hear it!

In the meantime, the band has kept busy with our own personal lives. I (Dave) have been busy with school, Jeremy is also doing some schooling, and the rest of the guys have been working all the time. Whenever we can we try to get together to jam and/or do whatever else. Most of us went out bowling last weekend, and failed miserably. If gutter balls were good I think we'd have a solid team.

Anyway, hope you're all having a great time wherever you are! It's the last month of school, so keep your foot on the gas and before you know it exams will be over and you'll be celebrating with us at one of our end of exams bashes across the island. Check out the events page for all the details!
